Day 29

Funny when your fortune cookie gives you the business model you work from

Credits, credits, credits. Cha Ching!

E was up so many times last night that I lost track, Melissa and I swap off but it felt like we were both up all night.

First day back to the gym in months. I hope my Up shows up soon!

Stationary bike: 6 miles

Running: .2mi

Walking: .6mi

Sharing a computer with someone is weird, because I am not logged in automatically to all my stuff. I don’t know all my passwords!

If you don’t have pricing on your site I immediately distrust you.

Why don’t software companies have screenshots and tours on their site? Your software sucks until you prove differently.

1 can of sprite in a large glass, fill to the rim with orange juice. You can thank me later.

A friend ate this tonight and gave me the recipe:

  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 red cabbage
  • 8 oz sugar snap peas
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh, flat leafed parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
  • It serves about 4 people

E had peanut butter for the first time, she REALLY liked it.

I wonder if her new PB experience had anything to do with being up all night. I hate getting back into exercise when I have fallen off the wagon for awhile. Just hurts and makes me tired. What is with the folks who say exercise makes them feel great. I think they lie!

I would say that the PB experience totally could be the reason, except that she has been doing the 1am thing for about 2 weeks :( I really do think it’s her top teeth hurting, they are so close to popping through her gums that I can see little white lines in there!

For the people who say that exercise makes them happy, I have never felt that. However, I can tell you that I enjoyed the weight I lost when I was cycling 3x/week. I managed to keep 7 of the 10 pounds off for nearly 3 months after I stopped.
I only stopped because I rolled my ankle real bad, got sick twice, and then moved twice. I’m back now though and will add updates if all of a sudden I start to feel addicted. Also, I should add that I missed doing that physical activity. It was a feeling in my arms and legs like I was too sedentary. It could have been my conscience just bugging me or the fact that I felt slovenly in general, but I did feel it. Still not admitting I am addicted though :)

    I’ll try that recipe.

    Your daughter is adorable!

I want to try it too! Likely, I will add Jalepenos to it though. YUM.
